Sushi was amazing and the staff were very friendly. It cost us about $40/head which included a bottle of Saki for 4 very hungry guys. Definitely worth the money!

I would stick to cooked dishes here. Chicken karaage don was tasty. But for sushi, look elsewhere. I got the Hawaiian Roll (around $14 from what I remember) and it was so saucy and intensely salty that you could not taste any other ingredients - and there wasn't much fish on or in the roll to begin with. It was difficult to finish. I hope they improve, but even if it were a cheap restaurant (it's not), the sushi is not worth it.

Overall ok. The food was decent but other than that. Not great. My party of 5 all with different dishes quality was ok. I ordered the salmon don with rice and the salmon was not great and rice wasn’t good. The service was also not good. They didn’t recall our order and they misheard us and brought us the wrong dish , which happens. Moving on. They never once checked in with us and I tried for a solid 10 minutes to get a workers attention but they kept moving back and forth with take out dishes. For prices , the food in my opinion is more expensive than your typical lower mainland joint.If you decent to check this place out. I’d recommend taking out. But other than that. It’s ok

Just had dinner there and it was so fresh and tasty at the same time. We ordered grilled mackerel with baked salmon roll and yam avocado roll. We thoroughly enjoyed and will be soon back :) thank you very much, this place is highly recommended to try on !

I walked into this restaurant today in the early afternoon with my mother to have a quick bite. My mother wasn’t hungry but I haven’t eaten and it was quite hot outside so we went in.The server didn’t even pour us any water but took my order and just because my mother didn’t order anything, the server refused to service us. Her reason was that my mother had to also order something.My meal alone cost over twenty dollars before tax and tip. So the restaurant would have still earned some decent money and since I have never dined there before, they could have gained a potential new repeat customer, had the service been better.Plus, the restaurant was empty. There was only one other table of two. We were also sitting right at the window where other people passing by could see us, which is what a restaurant manager should want. You want a full looking restaurant not an empty one. But since this lady was reluctant to serve us and spoke up to us in such an unprofessional and unappreciative rude tone, I got up with my mother and we left.If I was her manager and found out I would be furious. I am also a professional in the food industry and although I didn’t end up trying the food, the service and lack of proper etiquette by our server not only ruined my appetite, but made me write this review. I will never return to this place because of how my mother and I were treated. And I will definitely spread the word. No wonder this place was so empty.

This is my local go-to sushi place. The are several options in the area, but I like the friendly service here, the reasonable prices and delicious sauces. The pumpkin croquettes are one of my favorite dishes and they steam the edamame just right. We typically order take out but recently ate in. It's easy to make reservations and get a table mid-week. The women's washroom has 3 stalls (one out of order at my last visit) and is decorated to give the illusion of walking into a hanging garden! Touchless paper towel dispenser.

We stopped by for lunch with the family as we’ve had decent experience in the past. The food was not good as in the past. We ordered an unagi roll, a few of the roll pieces barely had unagi in them, so I nicely brought this to the server’s attention. She looked me as if i don’t know what I am talking about and did not even say a word. So I waited a bit and then went to the owner and nicely explained the situation and he gave me a similar stare and the silent treatment. He still charged us full price. We like to support small businesses but I have no idea how businesses can be sustained with this level of customer service. I wish them the best but I won’t be coming back.
